加国宣布回收部分儿童感冒及咳嗽药 过度服用导致死亡

加拿大Wyeth Consumer Healthcare 公司將回收该公司在加国出售的以下药品：
· Dimetapp Oral Infant Cold Drops (products with dye and without dye)
· Dimetapp Oral Infant Cold and Fever Drops
McNeil Consumer Healthcare公司將回收以下药品：
· Infants' Tylenol Cold Dye-Free Drops
· Benylin for Infants Cough and Cold Drops
· Benylin for Infants Stuffy Nose Oral Drops
另外，加拿大Shoppers Drug Mart也表示，他们公司自己的品牌药品也將回收。
在美国，消费者健康品协会（Consumer Healthcare Products Association）也在昨日宣佈回收部分品牌的婴儿口服药品。回收的药品包括：
· Dimetapp® Decongestant Plus Cough Infant Drops
· Dimetapp® Decongestant Infant Drops
· Little Colds® Decongestant Plus Cough
· Little Colds® Multi-Symptom Cold Formula
· Robitussin® Infant Cough DM Drops
· Triaminic® Infant & Toddler Thin Strips® Decongestant
· Triaminic® Infant & Toddler Thin Strips® Decongestant Plus Cough
· TYLENOL® Concentrated Infants' Drops Plus Cold
· TYLENOL® Concentrated Infants' Drops Plus Cold & Cough
· PEDIACARE® Infant Drops Decongestant (containing pseudoephedrine)
· PEDIACARE® Infant Drops Decongestant & Cough (containing pseudoephedrine)
· PEDIACARE® Infant Dropper Decongestant (containing phenylephrine)
· PEDIACARE® Infant Dropper Long-Acting Cough
· PEDIACARE® Infant Dropper Decongestant & Cough (containing phenylephrine)
回收这些药品的主要原因是一些家长可能不按照药品说明书的要求给儿童服用药品，在加拿大及美国均有报告显示因为过度服用这些药品而出现不良反应。过度服用范围包括，服用过多药物、服用次数频繁以及服用其他类似成分的药品。 |
